GEORGE A. WILTSE,
A great wiiter has said: "We are effective agency,
born with the principles of dissolution
in our frame, which continue to oper-
ate front our birth to our death"
A more recent authority—a medical
man of long experience— has made the
important statement, that "Men and
Women can quickly dissipate and stamp
out every trace of the common ailments
which attack them, and add many long
years of life, if Paine's Celery Corn
pound is used instead of the ordinary
drugs now so freely dispensed to satis-
fy professional customs."
These principles of dissolution --mor
tality--death—are seen in thousands
with whom we come in Contact every
day. We meet the dyspeptic, rheumntie
nervous, bilious, sleepless and run
down on every hand, In such, the
germs of mortality are fast expanding
and tightening, and will hold them
captive unitise released by a stroneeand
t..
Mr. George A Wilt:ie, of Athens, Ont.,
whose portrait appears above, was fast
becoming a victim to dyspepsia.
Knowing what Paine's Celery Com
pound had clone for others sitnilarry
tortured and afflicted, he used nature's
health -giver, and soon found a com-
plete cure. Mr. Wiltse writes as fol-
lows about his case:
"I want to add my testimony in fa-
vor of your valuable remedy, Paine's
Celery Compound which I have been
taking for over a year for dyspepsia
and severe pains in the neck and back
of the head. Your medicine has pro
duces a Complete cure in my case, and]
I have recommended ' it to severs
friends who claim they have received
great benefit. I can testify, therefore,.
in all honestly, that your Paine's Cel-
ery Compound is a very valuable med-
icine,"

London, March 19. --The Mark Lane

C. E.'Wright's Case.
He was a doubting Thomas—Did not think
Dodd's Kidney fills would cure his back-
ache, but they did!
Penetanguishene, March 19,—If any per
son in this neighborhood had any doubt as
to the curative properties of Dodd's Kidney
Pills, the case of Mr. C. E. Wright, the
wall ki,own butcherhere, ought to dispel such
doubts Mr. Wri'_ht was troubied for some
years with a severe pain in the back and
kidney disease. He was reluctant to use
the pills but was finally persuaded to do so.
To -day he is aired of his kidney trouble
and is loudly smiting the praise of the rem-

Silk Apron.
The old style black silk apron is again
being used. This is simply one breadth
of silk, slightly gored, and gathered at
the top over a piping -cord. The edge is
,either buttonholed, scfalloped or trimmed
with narrow black lace. Black ribbon
strings are fastened to the sides of the
apron. and tied either at the back or
crossed and brought to the front of the
waist and tied in a loeg bow and ends.
To Olean Old Burners,
Have you a lamp burner that is get-
ting old and dingy, and seemingly
worthless? Don't throw it away, but
boil it in a pan of water, in which a
quantity of potato parings have been
placed. You will be surprised to find
how bright and new it will appear after
it is thoroughly boiled, rinsed and dried,
and when used it will be quite as satis-
factory as a new burner.
Flour for Thickening."
Keep browned flour on hand for thick-
ening stews, gravies, sauces and soups.
It gives a much better flavor than is ob-
tained from raw flower. Brown it by
scattering evenly over a largo fiat batt-
ing pan and stirring often until it is pale
brown.
