A disgusting case of depravity was heard before His Honor Judge Finkle at Woodstock yesterday when Albert Perry, 55 years of age, residing at Til- sonhurg, was charged with the crime of incest on his 15 year-old daughter, Agnes. From the evidence adduced it transpires that the prisoner's crimin ality dated from some time back, and the story told by the unfortunate girl was of a shocking character. His Honor could hardly find words suffi. ciently strong to characterize his detes tation to this abominable offence, He sentenced the prisoner to three years' imprisonment in the Provincial Peni= tentiary^'and to receive 20 lashes two weeks from the date of his incarcera- tion, with an additional 20 lashes two weeks before the expiration of sentence.
