The Annual Fall Fair a the Hensall Dominion Agricultural Society was held on Thursday and Friday last, The first day was wet, but despite this, the ekilibits in the indoor departments were above the average, and equal to any fair in this seetion. the grain, roots and frait being well filled.. The aecone day was very tine, and the outdoor exhibits proved. to be urtueually large. In horses, cattle, sheep and hogs, espec- ially horees, the show was equal to far more pretentioua fairs, and judges ex- perienced diffieulty in awarding prim to the more meritorious animals. The speeding on the track was also well carried out, and several keen contests were fought. The bicycle races were won by Emerson of Olintouln the Men's Class, and Cook Bros, ist and. 2ad in the Boy's Claes, The attendance of vieitors was the largest in the history of the society the gate receipts amounted Lo upwards: of $200. The inerehents showed considerable testa in the decor- ating of their respective stores, and many were the expressions of eommend- Mien for the beauty and splendor and ari ay a goods displayed. Everything seemed to augur well for the suceese of the fair, and we should judge that the directors will hive a handsome eurplus with tvhiell to Aid them another year.
