on all the rateable property of the munici-

At the union picnic of the Royal Goad
TetnpIam, held in Queen's Park Stratford,
Saturclev, Thames F. tlargetta, one of the
participating, was engaged in a game of
football when he ceased playing, and lying
down ou the ground, asked for a substitute,
as ho was not able to oantinue. 8bortly
afterward he rose to walk away from the
field, but had proceeded. only half a dozen
stops virgin he fell dead. Heart failure is
assigned al the cause. Deceased was 28
yearn of age. and leaver; a wife and oldie.
In another column is announced the
death of Ides. Georgians, wife of Mr. Turn
er Farley, who died on Saturday, at the
homestead, lot 7, con 2, Nissouri, aged 85
yeare. Mr. Farley was a daughter of the
late Dr. Phillip. She came to Canada in
the year 1832 and was married in May
1835. She liyed in the present homestead
for the past 58 years. Deceased leaves a
nuaband and family of 7 ohildren, John, Q.
O., St. Thomas; Dr. James, Kamm Sidney
Manitoba; Thomas, Nisaouri; and alra.
Thee. Bedgood. of Nissoari; and two tin-
merried daughter; at home. The funeral
took place on Thureday.
