Mr. DeMill, for- merly Pincipal of the Alma Ledies'Oollege, Oshawa, is in town this week in connec. tion with Educational work. It would appear that Exeter is to have two grist mills ; at least indications so point at preeent. The mill, we understand, is to be owned by Mn A. J. Rollina and ano- ther person whose name is withheld at present. As to whether the project will n.aterialize it is uncertain, hut it is pos- sible. The petition reads that the site sel ected shall be south of the town hall. It might not be out of place to here suggest that while the publie.spiritedness is rife let a strong effort be made to form a com- pany to operate the foundry. While the mill might be a boon, the foundry would surely be a greater one. , . Presbytery of Huron. DOMINION NEWS IN BRIEF.
