nia by the arrest of Andrew Crawford,
first deputy reeve, charged with com-
mon assault by two respectable young
women—Miss Frances Johnston and
Miss Annie Fleming. lie had been

day last rode his cushion tire Whit-
worth safety, from the Stratford poet -

capture a record for 1892.
Donald Kerr, con. 8, Kincardine,was
knocked down by a bull,which gored
him, smashed his collar bone and other-
wise injured him. Kerr auoceeded in
catohing hold of the ring in the bull's
nose, and to this he held on, until his
dog, after being loudly called for, came
to his assistance and diverted the att-
ention of the enraged animal.

A shocking accident occurred Thins

Place, Toronto. A gang of ten men
were at work on a job, and they suc-
