AREA -RATED DEVELOPMENT CHARGES BYLAW
FOR GRANTON URBAN AREA
PUBLIC MEETING
The Township of Lucan-Biddulph is holding a Public Meeting to discuss a
proposed Development Charges By-Law. This By-law is in addition to the
existing Bylaw 34-99 and is specific to the Granton urban area. It will provide
for Development charges for sanitary sewage and water services for new
development and will set out the charge rates and the manner in which they
will be collected. The meeting will be held on:

Copies of the proposed By-Law and the supporting Background Study will
be available for review at the Township Offices beginning on November 19,
2002. Representatives of Council and B.M. Ross and Associates Consulting
Engineers will be present at the meeting to present details of the Background
Study and answer questions. Any person who attends the meeting may make
representations relating to the By-Law.

LUCAN – When the
weather outside is
frightful, the view
inside is delightful.
A snowy Nov. 5
evening marked the
opening of a beautiful
selection of artwork by
the River Road Gallery
artists at the Ausable
Gallery on Main St.,
Lucan.
The art by Grand
Bend area artists
ranges from familiar to
international scenes in
media from watercolour
to acrylic to oil and pas-
tel.
The eyes delight from
the colourful, realistic
creations to abstract
and photographic
works.
Artwork is for show
and sale by six of
Ontario’s West Coast
artists: David
Bannister, Josey Hilkes-
Britton, Lynda
Crossman, Vic Jansky,
Teresa Marie and Barry
Richman.
The show runs until
Dec. 18 and their art-
work would make won-
derful Christmas gifts.
The Ausable Gallery is

Stereo system
stolen from truck
EXETER – Huron OPP
officers were called to a
residence on Motz Blvd.
in Exeter Nov. 4 about a
theft from a vehicle.
Sometime overnight,
someone forced open a
window of a 1979 Ford
pickup truck and exten-
sively damaged the dash
by stealing a stereo sys-
tem and amplifier.
A tire inflator was also
stolen.
The stereo and amplifi-
er were later found in a
neighbours’ yard.
The investigation is con-
tinuing.

License- suspended
driver on ATV
LUCAN BIDDULPH – On
Sept. 23 at 3 p.m.,
Middlesex OPP officers
pulled over a Polaris ATV
on Fallon Dr. in Lucan
Biddulph. The 18-year-
old man driving has his
license suspended from
an earlier incident. He
will appear in a London
court Oct. 28.
