Sanitary sewage is currently treated in both Centralia and Crediton by individual septic systems. Recent studies have identified environmental problems with a substantial number of these systems. A number of possible solutions are being examined as part of the Class EA study, including the upgrading of existing septic systems, the development of a new municipal sewage treatment system, and the installation of a sewage collection system discharging into the Exeter sewage lagoon facilities. A Public Information Session is planned to provide further information to the public on study investigations to date and to receive input and comments from interested persons. DATE: Wednesday, November 13, 2002 TIME: 7:00 p.m. PLACE: Crediton Hall For further information on this project, or to inspect a copy of the Class Environmental Assessment document, please contact: B.
