Jr. D Hawks are no
longer perfect after a
3-2 loss to the Lambeth
Lancers at home Friday
night.
The loss was the
Hawks’ first of the sea-
son, dropping their
record to 5-1.
Exeter goals came
from Bentley Dundas
and Shayne Andrews in
the first period.
Assists came from
J.R. Davies, Joe
Nesbitt, Jared Bourne
and Jeff Finkbeiner.
The Hawks had the
lead after the first but
the Lancers took the
lead and kept it late in
the second period.
There was no scoring
in the third, a period in
which both teams only
had six shots each.
The Hawks had trou-
ble on the power play,
going scoreless in nine
opportunities, while the
Lancers scored one
goal in their seven
power play chances.
The Hawks outshot
the Lancers 25-24, with
Ryan Frayne keeping
goal for the Hawks and
Norm Seakan in nets
for the Lancers.
The Hawks have a
busy schedule this
week. They travelled to
Mt. Brydges last night
after the Times-
Advocate went to press,
play at home versus
Parkhill Friday at 8:30
p.m. and travel to Port
Stanley Saturday.

Students from Exeter, Hensall, Stephen,
Usborne,and Zurich participated in the
annual cross country meet at Stephen
school Oct 10. Students from Exeter dis-
play the medals they won running 1500m,
