As a member of our sales team you will be
responsible for:
• Retail counter sales - including recommending and
formulating herbicide and fertilizer treatments
• Farm Calls to procure crops, as well as maintain
and increase sales of seed, fertilizer and
herbicides
• Diagnostic calls to assist farmers in decision
making on further chemical usage or reseeding
• Dispatching, order taking and invoicing of custom
applied fertilizer and herbicides
Ideal candidates will be graduates from a recognized
post secondary agricultural program with experience
in agricultural sales. Familiarity with CPIC Phase III
warehousing and completion of the Certified Crop
Advisor and Vendors Certification programs would be
considered an asset. Essential qualities include
strong organizational skills, an aptitude for sales and
customer relations. You must be willing to work
extensive overtime during the busy seasons and also
willing in participate in training as required.

The Huron County Child Abuse Prevention
Committee is a not-for profit,charitable organization
dedicated to the elimination of child abuse through
public education, service provider training and pro-
grams that support and strengthen families.
Programming includes prevention awareness, education and sup-
ports for parents, drop in, mobile unit, basic needs supports, chil-
dren’s programming, & school based programming.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
We are seeking a highly motivated and seasoned administrator who
will be responsible for the operations of the organization including
program development, administration and evaluation, strategic plan-
ning, financial and human resources management, resource develop-
ment and community relations. The successful candidate will have
successfully managed a similar organization for three years or more.
She/he will possess a management style that would be described as
proactive, strategic,consultative and collaborative.
Reporting to the Board of Directors and working collaboratively
with a talented staff (currently 15), the Executive Director will man-
age a budget of approximately $700,000 and will play a pivotal role
in ensuring inclusive planning, developing crucial and effective ser-
vices, and securing and managing required resources. Applying
superior communication and interpersonal skills, s/he will develop
and maintain solid partnerships with service partners, donors and
funders, community and government organizations, and the public.
Qualifications:
•Graduate Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent experience and
management training
•Strong organizational & analytical skills & the ability to effectively
coordinate multiple tasks & meet deadlines
•Financial acumen & proven financial management experience of a
multi-funded organization (budgeting, financial planning, reporting)
•Experience working with a non-profit Board of Directors
•Ability to foster a collaborative approach to program delivery inter-
nally & with multiple stakeholder groups
•Demonstrated skill in staff supervision, motivation & team building
•Excellent oral & written communication skills
•Demonstrated enthusiasm & proven track record for fundraising,
grant writing, marketing & media relations
•Proven expertise in strategic planning & priority setting
