The South Huron District High School senior boys defeated Walkerton Sacred Heart 10-5, lost to Stratford Northwestern 20-7 and beat Waterford 17-14 in the third place game. Ryan Knee and Jason Stuckless both scored two tries on the day followed by Justin Hayter with a single try. The Panther girls beat Waterford 25-0 and Northwestern 30-0 but lost to Sacred Heart 15-0 in the final to finish sec- ond. Brittany Caldwell scored five tries, Julie Prout had four tries and Jasmine Lather and Denise Ritchie each scored a try. South Huron coach Terry O’Rourke said it was an excellent day of rugby 7’s and the players all represented South Huron well. Panther ruggers impress at Stratford 7’s tourney
