Sudden Death.—Last Monday
afternoon Mrs. Trick, wife of -Mr.
Thomas Trick, Goderich township,
while carrying a large platter of
butter up ■ front the cellar,, fell to the
bolttom of the stairs. The hired girl
was at the top ot the stairs and sa-w
her fall, and all she was .heard to
exclaim was “ Oh I” The girl ran’
to the mill at once for for Mr. Trick,
Jjut when became his wife was quite
dead, She had not been strong for
■ a long-time. She wa#.'at the Baptist
church on Sunday evening and-re
mained at Mrs, Holloway’s until
after dinner on Monday. She had
only been home abouLan hour when
die accident occurred. This will be

Goderich Township
One day last week a Goderich gent
leman striding a mettlesome steed
y’clept a bicycle met a farmer going
to town driving a freighted wagon.
