A Grand MUCCOSS.
The Annual Fall Fair of the Stephen
and Usborne Agricultural Society was
held on Monday and Tuesday !ast,
The first day was principally devoted
in making entries and arranging the
exhibits. Tuesday came forth with a
glorious and brilliant sky which COIL -
tinned so all day. No sooner were the
gates opened than dozens of visitors
anxious to inspect the various exhibits,
crowded upon the grounds, and the un-
iversal verdict was that the fair rank-
edahead of previous years. There
were upwards of 6,000 people on the
grounds. Never a fair yet held in Ex
eter has proven such a success as that
of this year. The total receipts amount.
ed to $905,25. The targe crowd was
favoured withsome excellent music
tuderecl by the Mastodon Band, and
