Roger Vidito originally of
Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia and
now living in Blyth has recently
opened an antique and used
clothing store on Queen Street in
Blyth.
Vidito said he recognized a need
in the area for inexpensive clothing.
“1 really just wanted the clothes
there to help the needy,” he said.
"[The store is] a place where you
don’t have to spend $80 on a pair of
jeans.”
The store also offers kids clothes
which Vidito said there is a real
need for in the area. “A lot of
people are coming in and looking
for kids’ stuff,” he said.
Almost everything is taken from
donation or consignment. The store
offers clothes, furniture, toys and a
few unique items such as kids’
motorbikes.
“We’re starting to get some
people coming around,” he said.
“Everyone in the area is really
nice.”
Vidito said he realized the village
is in need of more businesses.
He also has an interest in
landscaping in the summer months
and runs an interlocking and
landscaping business.
His store, called Second Time
Around is open all year.
