the Walkerton Rep team on
Saturday, Dec. 4.

in the first with an unassisted goal
by Shelsie Popp. Forwards
Cdurtney Middegaal, Jordan Teed,
Rebecca Chalmers, Nicole
Middegaal, Kayla Dale, Mackenzie
McGavin and Lexi Smith kept the

The Walkerton team, one of the
best in the league, kept Blyth’s
defence, Laura Higgins, Justine
Reid and Kelsey Kerr on their toes.
Chloe Middegaal had a great time
between the pipes for Blyth making
many excellent saves.
Popp’s goal would be the only
one. Walkerton won 10-1.
Coaches Higgins and Walker
were pleased with the 100 per cent
improvement Blyth has
made against this teem from last
year.

Blyth Mites battle Brussels
Blyth Mites ravelled to play
Brussels on Saturday, Nov. 19 for
their premiere game.
Brussels led the way in the
scoring contest. Carson Richmond’s
attempt to put Blyth on the score
sheet was denied by the buzzer and
Jared Shearer’s attempt was stopped
as well.
Jacob Gulutzen scored first for
with assists from Otten and Bos.
Otten scored the third goal of the
game.
Hallahan stopped a few tough
breakaways and kept Mildmay to
only one goal.
Mildmay came to Blyth the next
week and the hosts came out on top
once again by 3-1. Goals were
scored by Roetcisoender (two) and
Otten (one) with Bos getting the
assist.
Once again Hallahan had a strong
performance in net with the help of
the strong defence.
Seaforth came to town this past
weekend and Hallahan earned his
first shutout of the season. Otten
scored the first goal of the game
from a nice cross ice pass from
Roetcisoender.
Bos scored her first goal of the
season on a breakaway late in the
second period.
All of the Dynamite are having an
excellent season and are looking
forward to meeting un with

Blyth, first of the season. Then with
his eagerness for another, Gulutzen
assisted McKayla Rodgers on the
second goal.
With the help of Dakota Coultes
who stopped the Brussels players
from adding to their score, the game
ended. Fun was had by all as the
Mites got their first feeling of the
