(Vicky Bremner photo) Peters in goal for OHL all-stars Blyth native Justin Peters will field the net for the Ontario Hockey Leagues’s (OHL) all-star team. Peters was one of two goalies named to the all-star team and will face the best from Russia during the series. The two games will take place in Kitchener on Nov. 24 and in Peterborough on Nov. 28. Peters, who is in his fourth season with the St. Michaels Majors in Toronto, was ranked number four on the list of the best North American goalies by Central Scouting from the NHL in 2004. At age four, his parents Jeff and Janice Peters introduced their son to the game, allowing him to play for a beginners hockey team. His love of hockey continued as he moved from Blyth Minor Hockey to the Huron-Perth AAA Lakers.
