The next euchre is on Monday, Nov. 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Legion Hall. BLYTH UNITED CHURCH Greeting at Blyth United Church Sunday, Nov. 20 were Doug and Barb Howson. Guest organist was Lynda McGregor. Ushers were Rob and Karen Mason and Pat Bernard and Doug Howson. Rob Mason thanked everyone for helping and supporting the stewards’ fall supper. Everyone working together made it a great success. The choir sang an anthem. So Sent by You. Rev. Robin McGauley asked the children to come to the front for their story. She showed them the Christian calendar and all the events that come in the Christian Year. Everyone sang The Lord's Prayer. The children went downstairs for Sunday school. The scripture readings were from Ezekiel 34: 11-16, 20-24, Psalm 100 was sung and Matthew 25: 31-46. They were read by Jessica Dunbar. Rev. McGauley's message to the adults was The Shepherd King. Rev. McGauley spoke of the Christian calendar as today was the last Sunday for the Christian year. McClory is a Seaforth native who studied at a private school strictly for massage therapy in London called D’Arcy Lane. She became certified, after two years of study and began work at Spa Essentials before deciding to leave and start her own practice. “I was working upstairs and the stairs became a problem,” she said. “The opportunity arose [to start a business in Blyth] and I took it.” McClory is hosting an open house Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. to offer an opportunity to answer any questions anyone might have on massage therapy (“the manipulation of soft tissues and joints.”) She said she treats people who suffer from a variety of problems including pulled muscles, temporo­ mandibular Joint (TMJ), spine problems, nerve problems, multiple sclerosis and more. “There’s a lot of whiplash,” she said. North Huron Council is inviting interested property owners to forward a proposal to the undersigned not later than Monday, November 28, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. The proposal should include the following information: Square footage of usable space. Whether or not the building is wheelchair accessible from Queen Street. Whether or not the washroom(s) are wheelchair accessible. Proposed monthly rental fee. What the rental includes, i.e., heat, hydro, water, insurance, property taxes, etc. A copy or sketch of the Floor Plan if available. Any other relevant information.
