Registered Massage Therapist
Amanda McClory has recently set
up shop on Queen Street in Blyth.
McClory is a Seaforth native who
studied at a private school strictly
for massage therapy in London
called D’Arcy Lane.
She became certified, after two
years of study and began work at
Spa Essentials before deciding
to leave and start her own practice.
“I was working upstairs and the
stairs became a problem,” she said.
“The opportunity arose [to start a
business in Blyth] and I took it.”
McClory is hosting an open house
Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. to
offer an opportunity to answer any
questions anyone
might have on massage therapy
(“the manipulation of soft tissues
and joints.”)
She said she treats people who
suffer from a variety of problems
including pulled muscles, temporo
mandibular Joint (TMJ), spine
problems, nerve problems, multiple
sclerosis and more.
“There’s a lot of whiplash,” she
said.
McClory’s office is located next
