Monday. Oct. 24 with 11 tables in
play.

Colgate was able to even the score
before the close of the second

After a time-out was called with
1:31 remaining ol the game. Wayne
State pulled a player for the extra
attacker but the Colgate defence
went the distance and blocked all
four Wayne State shots.

Skating club
It was skate-a-thon time on Saturday for members of the Blyth Skating Club. Top pledge

Rollers. After a pep talk al half-time
the Rollers played a much stronger
second half. They improved at
playing their positions, making
better passes and even took some
good shots on the Mildmay net.
The final buz/er sounded and the
score was a 4-0 victory for Mildmay

the success it has been, final calculations indicate gross receipts approaching $3,872.71
earmarked for service to veterans and their families. As the 2005 campaign approaches
it seems appropriate to thank all who donated during the door to door canvass last

The Legion has a supply of hospital beds, canes, crutches,
wheelchairs, walkers, raised toilet seats for any person in
our district who may require the use of them. A special
thanks goes out to all the Business Clubs and people who
have supported The Blyth Legion Branch 420 Poppy
Campaign in the past. Also thanks to the Legion members
who have assisted in making this one of the best poppy
campaigns ever. Poppy Week will start November 1st to
November 11th.
