2 (two) Part-time Rural Roads Operators ■ for the 2005-2006 winter season from December 2005
to March 31,2006. This position will be on a 'call-in basis' as needed basis, with a monthly income
guarantee.
A job description for the position is available for review at the Municipal Office.
The successful applicant must have a Class DZ licence and should be familiar with the operation of
a motor grader, mounted with snowplow and wing and/or a tandem truck mounted with snowplow,
wing and sander.

The Maitland Valley Conservation Authority invites
applications for the position of Communications
Coordinator. This is a 13 month contract beginning in mid
November, 2005.
The successful candidate will provide communications
expertise to the Conservation Authority’s Board of
Directors, Foundation and staff. The position will also
involve working on a number of community partnerships
and initiatives including Source Water Protection Planning.
Qualifications: proven experience in a communications
capacity; understanding of methods and techniques in
areas such as public relations, marketing, media relations
and special event management; understanding of local
conservation issues; experience working with a variety of
local community groups.

Duties will include assisting with administration of a tipping fee
and recycling program and day to day operation of the site.
This is an hourly paid position with a 26 hour work week. Work
hours include Tuesdays, Fridays, Thursday evenings during the
summer months and Saturdays.
