The show is a combination of speed, agility and obedience as dog owners take their unleashed dog through a pre-arranged course. The owners are allowed to go through the course prior to the competition, but the dog is not. Grace Cooper of Dreamweavers Dog Training of RR 3, Ailsa Craig has been involved for the past 12 years, and has been teaching since 1997. She indicated she used to own border collies when they lived in London and that is where she began teaching. Where she is located now is the type of place ideal for this type of dog training. “There has to be lots of space." she said. According to Cooper, there are a lot of dog owners in the north part of London and in this area who could use some dog training. She teaches at Oakridge Animal Hospital. to the Huron Pioneer Thresher & Hobby Association on your 44th reunion Your local office product specialist • Computers • Stationery • Photocopiers • Cellular Phones • Furniture (Home & office design available) ' • Phone Systems & Voice mail • Network & IT Solutions • Fax Machines • Service Dept, for printers, copiers, fax machines & computers Upgrade Installations A+ Certified Technicians | 223 Huron *Rd., Goderich 214 Josephine St., Wingham Tel. She indicated they've always had dog's; she and her husband used to have rough collies (lassie-type collies). They lost one in 1990 and their children decided to replace it. Instead of the rough collie, they replaced it with a border collie, thinking it was the same type of dog. “It was not at all the same type of dog.” said Cooper. “Rough collies 272 Huron Street, Clinton, Ontario NOM 1L0 519-482-1119 www.dinnerbell.ca Your hosts: Roy, Barb & Jeff Oesch Welcome to the 44th Annual Thresher Reunion ’’Fresh Food Made To Order" Opened May 1998, the Dinner Bell offers a wide variety of food including pasta, steak, burgers, sandwiches & more.
