We're weather watching again.
I irst no ram with all the problems
that come with that. Now just a little
extra. A little too much for the
campers, especially the tenters in
our midst, and more than enough for
the motocross folks competing at
Walton on Friday. Once again time
to remember we do not run the

Under New Management
' as of July 29/05
The empty bottle return location/property at
261 Turnberry St. in Brussels has been
purchased by Huron Feeding Systems. Owners
Joe and Debbie Seili have plans for
expansion and general cleanup.
Hours of operation continue on Saturdays
from 10 to 4. Bring all your empty beer
bottles/cans to Brussels.
Watch for more to come.
At present less than four per cent
of eligible donors roll up their sleeve
to give the gift of life
So next time that the trucks roll
into Huron County think a little
harder about giving. It will only cost
you an hour of your time and less
than hall a lure ol your blood
You’ve wasted more time on less
noble affairs and your reward is that
you will have helped three
Canadians, in some cases saving
their lives. Sounds like a pretty good
payback and you never know when
the need will be very close to
home.
"It's in you to give" is a very clear
slogan that the Blood Services uses
in their promotions Please give
blood and help make the donor

Unit will continue mosquito
surveillance across the county until
the first frost.
Dr. Beth Henning, medical officer
of health, says it is important for
people to continue protecting
themselves and their families from
mosquito biles due to increasing
West Nile virus activity across
Ontario.
This is the time of year when
humans are most at risk of infection.
About 80 per cent of people who
contract the virus will have no
symptoms. The majority of those
who do become ill, report flu-like
symptoms such as fever, headache,
muscle weakness and fatigue.

Lots of preparation went into the

Saturday a great way io highlight the
olten forgotten details of our
community Reading the booklet
about Huron Fast was enlightening
bui several ncwei details were
missed that make out present Ide
much better.
Our weekly paper I lie Citizen
would not be part ol the day without
the great effort and work ol folks
like Keith and Jill Roulston. Bev
Brown and Sheila Richards in the
1980s so I was disappointed that the
history stopped short.
