Dr. Eugen Bannerman came to Blyth United Church in January 2002.‘In (he three and a hall years that he was here, he brought new life and vitality to Blyth United, resulting in camaraderie among the entire congregation. He is a gem! Not only did he do wonders for our church, he took an interest and was actively involved in our community Among the many things he did was serving on the board ol directors lor the Blyth Centre ol the Arts. Also he did village portraits on some long-time residents namely Ken Jackson. Harvey McDowell. Ernie Phillips, Janis Vodden, Grant Sparling, Stewart Ament and Aubrey Toll These portraits have been compiled into a booklet and can be obtained at Blyth United Church. Everyone loved Dr. Bannerman and he will be missed very much. Our loss will be someone else’s gain. Lois van Vliet.
