The wedding of Geoff Dalton and
Michelle Forsyth took place at
Egmondville United Church on June
11. The meal and reception were
held at the Arden Park Hotel in
Stratford for close to 200 guests. It
was a great party with many of the
guests staying at the hotel.

The Brussels Lions gave $1,000 towards the Agricultural Society’s fundraising campaign.

We send out get-well wishes to
Naomi Pryce as she recovers from
surgery.
Congratulations to John and Lisa
Huetheron the birth ot a song Kaden
John, a wee brother for sister
Kennedy. This is the fifth grandchild
tor Grandma Margery Huether.
Congratulations also to Doug and
Shawna O'Neill on the birth ol then
son. Kolton Ray. a wee brother for
Jadon. This is a second grandson for
Murray and Sherry McCall. Great
grandma is Mary McCall.
The 'westward McNichol' (aka
Mark) is home again for a visit. He
was a member of the Dalton/Forsyth
wedding party and will be around for
a short visit with others.
Neil and Marie McGavin attended
a reunion with the group they
travelled to South Africa with last
year in Ailsa Craig. There were
almost 40 in attendance including
three couples from Holland who are
in Canada on holiday at this time
The visiting couples came up to
Walton to look around the aica
including the McGavin home (arm
and business.
It's always great to renew
friendships made and relive the great
holiday adventures
Also on that weekend, the
McGavins attended the First
Cousin/Johnston reunion held at the
home of Shirley Nicholson. There
were approximately 18 gathered
from Vancouver. London. Walton
and Bluevalc area.
Keith, Gloria. Mark. Ian and Brian
Wilbee travelled to the Peterborough
Memorial Centre to witness the
graduation of Kevin from Sir
Sandlord Fleming College School ol
Law and Justice's law clerk

I here was a reception held at the
college and the immediate family
went out and enjoyed a celebration
dinner together. Brian and Ian
Wilbec continued on to Napanee to
visit with Ken and Grace Wilbee.
Kevin Wilbec is going to continue
his studies in Ottawa at Carlton ir.
the fall.
The Craig reunion was held at the
Walton Hall on the weekend with
about 35 gathering lor a potluck
meal. Many played ball next door at
the park.
Heather Craig from Scotland,
granddaughter of Bill and Isabelle
Craig from Scotland was home and
attended.
Neil and Marie McGavin attended
the Belmore celebrations with Neil
riding his restored tractor in the
parade and Marie having a chance to
meet up with old school friends.
Members of the Walton Women's
Institute travelled on Wednesday
afternoon to the Wingham Heritage
Museum. The outing was planned by
Brenda Perrie and Leona Mc
Donald.
They enjoyed a tour of the facility,
then had a lunch of fresh fruit and
muffins at the museum provided by
Brenda.

The scripture reader was Kevin
Wilbee and Rev. Joan Tuchlinsky'■>
reflection was entitled Men of Faith
The offering was received by
Kevin Wilbee and Brian McGavin.
People are needed to share their
musical talents during July worship
services. Call Brian Black or Glenda
Morrison.
Donations are still being accepted
for the Richards family of Uganda.
