installation of the propane storage

will have trucks operating out of
Wiarton by September, and storage
is priority one. Related building
construction that cannot be fully
postponed until next spring.

to take care of our customers in the
fall and winter seasons.”

BLYTH UNITED CHURCH
Blyth United Church held its
service on Sunday, June 5 at Camp
Menesetung at 11 a.m.
Lorna Fraser welcomed everyone
with the Call to Worship repeated
responsively.
The first hymn We are One, was
accompanied by Cappy Onn playing
the violin.
Wyatt Bearss read the scripture
from Matthew 18: 1-5 and Mark 10:
13-16.
Mrs. Fraser’s message was a story
of everyone working together to
make a better world.
The children gathered at the front
and each was given either a red,
green or blue hat and each carried a
flashlight with the colour of their
hats. As they read a verse as to what
their colour represented, they shone
their light on a white cardboard. This
showed that as individual light it
showed red, green and blue, but if
put together and shone on a white
paper in the same spot they become
white.
The Sunday school awards were
presented. Mrs. Fraser presented
each teacher with a gift as a thank
you. Deb Hakkers presented her
with a gift. Fred and Deb Hakkers
were presented with a plant as a
thank you for making the birthday
cake each month.
The offering was collected by
Laurie Sparling and Randy Fraser.
A potluck lunch and birthday cake
were enjoyed in the dining hall.
Those celebrating birthdays for June
and July were Karen Giousher,
Quinton Hakkers, Bodie Craig and
Loma Fraser.
June 26 will be Rev. Eugen
Bannerman’s last Sunday at Blyth
