Terpstra's and Lexi Smith’s families
gathered for lunch after church at
the Dunkeld Restaurant near
Paisley.
Chris and Chuck took the children
fishing in the afternoon. It was
reported that the fish were too smart
for them, but they enjoyed the time
anyway.

at the home of Don and Darlene
Fischer.

The community welcomed back
some former residents on May 24
when Tracy Swart and Marg Saxon
hosted a come-and-go shower in the
Cranbrook Community Centre for
Lyn Housser. Best wishes to Lyn
and Brandon Noble who were mar
ried on Saturday, May 28 in the
Wingham Baptist Church.
On Saturday afternoon many area
friends and family of Lloyd and
Vera Weber attended the come-and-
go tea to help celebrate their 55th
anniversary in the Cranbrook
Community Centre.
Last Saturday evening area resi
dents were part of the large crowd
enjoying the fish fry at the Legion in
Brussels.
On Sunday the Monkton worship
service group consisting of Shirley
(Mrs. Jack Bannerman), Diane
(Mrs. Dennis Simpson) and Ernie
Naylor conducted the church servic
es in Cranbrook on Sunday, June 5
as the congregation is going to
Camp Kintail. Communion will be
held in Cranbrook on Sunday, June
12.
