Knox news
A covenanting service was held at
Knox United Church for Amy
Barnes, who will soon be leaving for
Venezuela with other Christian
youth. There she will learn about the
culture and have an opportunity to
make a difference for some of the
people.
After the service and lunch on
Sunday, April 24, Pat and Jim Barnes
did a presentation on Nicaragua.
The ham and scalloped potato
dinner that was held on Wednesday,
April 27 at the community centre was
a huge success realizing a profit of
about $1,500. A special thanks to
everyone who helped and supported
the supper.
On Sunday, May 1 at Knox United
Church the flower on the carillon was
placed by Velma in loving memory of
her mother.
FROM BELGRAVE
SINNAMON. In loving memory of
Robert Sinnamon who passed away
April 30, 2004. Sadly missed by
wife Arlene, sons and daughters-in-
law and grandchildren.
There is long and winding road,
Along which we all must go,
It leads beyond the hills of time,
Into the sunset glow.
You are where we cannot see you,
Your voice we cannot hear,
Yet, we know you walk beside us,
Never absent, always near.
Of all that life has given us,
And all that’s left to do,
We’ll never have a greater gift,
Than the days we spent with you.
- We all miss you so much. 18-lp
