Comrades Glenn Bridge and Rick
McDonald. Those elected include:
president, Norm Dobson; first vice-
president. Jo-Ann McDonald;
second vice-president, Allyson
Cardiff; secretary, Sandra Josling;
executive, Greg Wilson, Andy
Overholt, Mike Dauphin, Mabel
Glanville, Julie Harrison.
The position of treasurer was
appointed to Judy Lee.
A little sweetheart and two big
ones flew in from the West last week
and are making Dave and Jeanette
Boynton smile a lot.
Miss Erin has successfully given
the Grandparent Boyntons a reason
to talk to toys, chat at deep levels to
an infant and read books they didn’t
know existed. Yes they have
succumbed to being doting
grandparents and it looks pretty
good on them.

Brussels Agricultural Society part
of District 8 of the Ontario
Association was pretty pleased with
the performance of their
Ambassador on Saturday night in
Howick. Eleven young people
representing the area fairs, from St.
Marys and Exeter to Dungannon and
Listowel, showed the judges their
poise and confidence.
Candice McLellan, the Brussels
Ambassador, charmed the folks at
the interviews and with her
speeches, arid was named the winner
for District 8.
Good work Candice.
The Huronlea volunteers are at it
again. They’re serving lasagna for
lunch on May 6 from 11 a.m. to 1:30
p.m. To keep life interesting they
have baking and plants for sale and
door prizes to keep you alert. So
come to Huronlea, celebrate
Mother’s Day and help the auxiliary
buy a sanitizer.
Mother’s Day is fast approaching
so get your plans together and the
flowers ordered. She’ll love you
even more.
By now, Betty G.W.
