Michigan, passed away on Friday, April 1.2005, in her 89th year. Born in Grey Twp. on April 26, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude Davidson of Brussels. She is also predeceased by sisters, Ethel Jackson, Agnes Glassier and Gladys Lott and brothers George, Charles, Scott and Harvey. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband of 65 years, Charles, her children David (Sharon) congratulated the three members, and expressed the Auxiliary’s thanks. Preparations were made for three upcoming events: the spring rummage sale, the closing bridge party to be held on May 9, and the District conference to be held in Clinton on April 25, which will be attended by eight members. permits had been issued during March, to bring the total for the year to 16. A memorial service was held at St. Paul’s Methodist United Church in Bloomfield Hills on Monday, April 4. The Gift Shop continues to be a valuable service to the hospital, and a good fund-raiser for the Auxiliary. Helen McKague thanked the volunteers who staff the shop, and also those who donate items for sale, particularly the Belgrave women for their beautiful crib quilt, Dorothy Marks for hand-knit children’s sweaters, and Ruth Smith for hand- to date are mostly for residences. At the same time last year, the number of permits issued in March was nine, but the total for the first three months of 2004 was 13. According to Josling, the value of the permits issued last month was $1,391,000 to bring the total for the year to just under $2 million. The value of the permits issued in March 2004 was $335,000, with the total value for the first three months of last year being $830,000. There were a total of 143 permits issued in 2004, with the total value being $10,300,300. Council approved an application to alter a designated property by installing a sign. The application was submitted by Partners Paint and Paper of Exeter and was for the installation of a 15 by four-foot sign at 19 Main St. in Seaforth. The sign would be made of plywood, painted red and screw nailed to the front of the building. There would be no illumination or animation involved. knit baby outfits.
