Obituaries ANNE PAULINE MYERS Sept. 22, 1913 - April 9, 2005 Anne Pauline Myers, beloved mother. grandmother, great­ grandmother and great-great­ grandmother passed away peacefully April 9. 2005 at her home. She was in her 92nd year. Born in Brampton. Ontario, Sept. 22, 1913, she graduated from nursing at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Toronto. Here she met and married her lifetime partner Charles Myers on July 7, 1938. Together they shared a medical practice and maternity home in Brussels. In 1961 they moved to Saskatoon, Sask. Anne was renowned for her cooking, crafting and compassion. She was a member of St. James Anglican Church June Circle and a lifetime member of Queen Esther Rebekah Lodge #5. She will be missed dearly and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Anne was predeceased by her husband Charles on Oct. 10, 1996. She is survived by her children Elizabeth (Lee) Balser, Teeswater; Frances (Bill) McQuarrie, Calgary; Irene (Bob) Richmond, Brussels; Mae (Paul) Chometsky, Saskatoon; Lillian Guckert, Medicine Hat; Ron (Coleen) Myers, Saskatoon. Also left to mourn her passing are grandchildren Don and Barb Kernaghan, Debbie -and Ivan Metcalfe, Mary Joan and Dale Weiss, Mike and Donna McQuarrie, Bonnie and Chuck Stewart, John and Sue Richmond, Brenda and Bert Sjaarda, Melissa Chometsky, Charles Chometsky, Darlene and Daryne Weiss, Peggy and Rick Kleiter. Jodi and Calvin Sehn, Shauna Guckert; Darcy and Marsha Myers and Ryan and Christine Myers. She was also loved by 21 great-grandchildren and one great­ great-grandchild. A memorial service was held at Saskatoon Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 13 at 2 p.m. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice as expressions of sympathy. THOMAS GEORGE CAMERON Mr. Tom Cameron of Belgrave passed away at Wingham and District Hospiial on Saturday, April 9. 2005. He was 65. He was the beloved husband of Sharon (Lewis) Cameron. He was the dear father of Steven and Linda Cameron of Atwood and Lori McIntosh of Wingham. He was the loving grandfather of Matthew, Daniel and Katherine Cameron, Jacquie and Rodney McIntosh. He was the great-grandfather of Anna McIntosh and son-in-law of Hazel Ritchie of Wingham. Mr. Cameron is also survived by his sisters Eileen and Jack Pitchford of Kitchener and Betty and Bob Lambier of Palmerston, his brothers Edwin Cameron of Palmerston, Jack and Gloria Cameron of Listowel, Don and Dianne Cameron of Wingham and Robert and Lillian Cameron of Owen Sound, his brothers-in-law Jim Ritchie and his friend Carla, and Tom Ritchie of Wingham. Mr. Cameron was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Mary (Crosbie) Cameron, his father-in- law Stewart Ritchie and his sister Patricia Watson. Tom was a long-time employee of H. Kerr Construction, Wingham, and a former president of Belgrave Optimist Club. Visitation was at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial services were held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Ethel Miner Clare officiated. Placement of ashes will be in Wingham Cemetery. Memorial donations to Wingham and District Hospital Foundation or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. WILLIAM A. GRAHAM Mr. Bill Graham passed away at Braemar Retirement Centre. Wingham on Thursday, March 31, 2005. He was 96. He was the beloved husband of the late Winnifred (Ackert) Graham who predeceased him in 1998. He was the dear father of Olive and Gary Gauthier of Sudbury and Lloyd and Deirdre Graham of RR1, Lucknow. Mr. Graham was the grandfather of Greg Gauthier and his partner Colleen Dinan, Jennifer Gauthier, Heather and David Reed and Daryl and Adria Graham. He was the great-grandfather of Graham Gauthier. Mr. Graham was predeceased by his parents William J. and Jennie (Lloyd) Graham and brothers and sisters Arthur and Flo Graham, Edna and Aut Legge, Cora and Bert Coffey, Charlie and Margaret Graham. Joseph and Ruby Graham, Dorothy Graham and Wilma and Emerson Crawford. Visitation was at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, on Friday from 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service was held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m. Rev. Wayne B. Beamer officiated. Interment was in Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. EDMUND HARTLIN Edmund Hartlin, associate professor of electrical engineering RMS; retired RCAF Captain, of Kingston passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 24, 2005. He was 75. He was the beloved husband of Budget dilemma still not solved Huron County councillors will tackle the thorny problem of setting a budget at their committee of the whole meeting Tuesday. Mr. Hartlin was the dear grandfather of Dean, Ryan, Graham, Eric and Jenica. He is survived as well by his brother Keith Hartlin and sister Enid and Charles MacKay, all of Nova Scotia. Also left to mourn his passing are many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Visitation was for one hour prior to a memorial service held at Chalmers United Church, Kingston, March 31 at 1:30 p.m. A reception followed. Memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
