Rainville Repair open for business in Brussels
By Jim Brown
Citizen staff
Sharyn Rainville began a business
in her home last September.
The business has since outgrown
her home and now she operates
Rainville Repair from 72 Sports Dr.
in Brussels. She has been at this
location since the beginning of the
year.
She washes and repairs horse
blankets, as well as light tack. She
also docs various repair jobs, with an
industrial sewing machine, to
canvas, nylon, light leather such as
sleeping bags, snowmobilc/car
covers, book bags and other items.
She also does zipper replace
ment.
Rainville said she is getting a lot
of business from the horse people al
Clinton Raceway. She hopes to get
some business from the area riding
stables and horse people.
She also provides laundry, wash
and fold service for the average
household laundry.
Inspired by her daugh'er, Shari
Stewart, store manager of a western
wear and lack store in the area,
Rainville does custom woodburning
and barnstall name plaques.
“I have mini-horses to keep my
interest,” said Rainville.
“I hope my business will prove to
be helpful to my customers and
friends as well as the community of
Brussels,” she said.
Rainville Repairs is open from 9
a.m. to I p.m. on Mondays and from
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays through
Fridays.
“Hopefully in the spring, I will be
overwhelmed with business,” said
Rainville.
