The business has since outgrown her home and now she operates Rainville Repair from 72 Sports Dr. in Brussels. She has been at this location since the beginning of the year. She washes and repairs horse blankets, as well as light tack. She also docs various repair jobs, with an industrial sewing machine, to canvas, nylon, light leather such as sleeping bags, snowmobilc/car covers, book bags and other items. She also does zipper replace­ ment. Rainville said she is getting a lot of business from the horse people al Clinton Raceway. She hopes to get some business from the area riding stables and horse people. She also provides laundry, wash and fold service for the average household laundry. Inspired by her daugh'er, Shari Stewart, store manager of a western wear and lack store in the area, Rainville does custom woodburning and barnstall name plaques. “I have mini-horses to keep my interest,” said Rainville. “I hope my business will prove to be helpful to my customers and friends as well as the community of Brussels,” she said. Rainville Repairs is open from 9 a.m. to I p.m. on Mondays and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays through Fridays. “Hopefully in the spring, I will be overwhelmed with business,” said Rainville.
