Now that you've announced your
engagement, it’s time to start
thinking about who will be in your
wedding party. This is a decision not
to take lightly — these people will be
standing up for you in front of
friends. family and possibly
members of the clergy.
According to
UltimateWedding.com. the first
choices to make are your bridesmaids
and groomsmen. Think about your
closest friends and family members.
The people you spend your time with
and share your special occasions with
are the ones you want to be with you

Nothing captures the memories of
your wedding day more completely
than a professional-quality video.
From recording the small intimate
details to being able to relive the
entire day over and over, many
couples opt for the video as a
complement to their photo package.
Just like a specific photographic
style, a videographer will have a
technique all his or her own. So.
when choosing a videographer, find
one who will highlight the events that
are the most important to you. You'll
want service that is professional,
creative and artistic.
Here are some questions to ask
your prospective videographer to
conclude if he or she is the one for

on your wedding day.
A general rule of thumb is to have
one attendant per 50 invited guests.
This number doesn't have to be exact
— you could have as few as two
attendants or as many as 12 each!
When choosing the best man and
maid/matron of honour, select those
people who are most reliable because
they will have many functions to
perform. The best man will be
responsible for handing final
payments to the catering hall, DJ,
photographer and others. The maid of
honour will help the bride dress, hold
her train and plan the bridal shower.
• What type of lighting will you
use?
• How will you be dressed at the
wedding?
• Do you have sample videos 1 can
see?
• How long have you been in
business?
• What packages do you offer?
• Do you use professional quality
equipment, accessories and supplies?
• How many cameras do you use?
• Do you have back-up equipment
comparable in quality to your main
gear?
• Do you use wireless
microphones?
• Do you offer non-linear digital
editing?
• Do you copy-protect or scramble
the videotape?
The groomsmen will act as ushers
to seat your guests. They should
arrive early to accommodate any
early birds. It’s a good idea to ask
people from both sides of the family
so that the ushers know where the
guests should be seated — on the
bride’s side or the groom’s.
Those who are not in the wedding
party can perform other important
roles. You may need scripture verses
to be read, candle lighters, a soloist
or a pianist. Most people would be
honoured to help out.
It may be a good idea to have your
wedding party get to know each other
