Whitfield earns top level
Well done

Whitfield, has recently completed
his sixth and final level of
CanPowerSkate. He is the first-ever

CanPowerSkate program.
Now in his seventh year, Whitfield
began power skating in the fall of
1998 at the young age of five. He
currently plays for the Huron-Perth
Lakers AAA Hockey^, Club and
attributes much of his success to his
power skating which has helped him
refine his skating skills such as
forward and backward crossovers,
backward skating, tight glide turns,
pivots, stops and starts and speed.
He is also requested from time to
time to demonstrate to his hockey
team members certain skating drills
because of his strong skating ability.
