A few days ago an agent of tho
Loudon Life Insurance Company struck
town and after starting upon his career
met some of our citizens who had been
insured in some of the other companies.
Be produced a slip purported to have
been clipped from the Toronto Globe
to the effect that the Manufacturers'
Life Insurauee Company, of Toronto,
had "busted" with liabilities amounting
to $95,000. This agent is a vile and
baso liar, as only a few weeks ago the
Toronto Globe, Empire, World and
several tether papers in Toronto pub-
lished the abstract of the business done
for the year showing that the company
were in the best of circumstances and
and for the year had done more busi-
ness than any other company in Can-
ada. Any person doubting our state-
ments we refer them to the report of
the Superintendent of Insurance. Should
this mean, contemptable and vile agent
show back we will not forret to show
him up to the public. We again assert
that the Manufacturers' Life is ono of
the safest and most reliable companies'
