Communication.
To Zditor of dilieocata.
DEAg. sun --We have often heard tell
of young men being disappointment be-
cause their sweet hearts went back on
then, and also huntsmen becasuse their
dog did not catch the fox. But 'we
were never more disappointed than
we were last week at not seeing a reply
to the communication that appeared in
the AnvocATE the week previous sign-
ed "Ratepayer," simply describing the
Treasurer, of school section No. 5, Us -
borne. The same two Grits would en-
deavor to make the public believe that
their integrity is above par, but we fail
to see it, and it is well known that the
present third rate teacher is getting
$40 more than a second rate could have
been hired for, who produced the best
of recommendations. If the Torys had
done a low dirty mean contemptible
trick of this kind the honest Grits would
have howled to -beat any Cyclone that
ever blew, but now all is well and they
are safe within the tide. However, if.
the treasurer is such a remarkable man
as they describe him to be we sincerely
hope that he will not travel in the. back
part of our tp. as we have no windows
that we want broken out bythe showers
of gravel that he makes fly behind him,.
but hope he will remain at home and
keep his penny oil can with him. Accord
ing to the treasurers statement if there
is one place more than another where
dirty Grit wire pulling as been done it
has been done at S. S. No. 5, Usborne,
and: by men that preach "keep polities
out." By allowing me this space in
your valuable journal.
