Shine a light In celebration of a Trillium grant for new lights at the BMG Community Centre, the key players met at the arena to see how they did. The new lights are expected to yield $3,200 in energy savings annually and was accomplished in part due to a generous donation from the Ontario Trillium Foundation of $5,300. Huron East mayor Joe Seili was on hand to give out the awards. Not present to receive her award was Michelle Blake, Sholdice's sister, who won a citizenship award for civic service. (Shawn Loughlin photo) 4 arrested for confinement, theft A true humanitarian Huron East mayor Joe Seili presented a Brussels citizenship award to Nelva Scott in honour of her work in the area. She received the citizenship humanitarian award. (Shawn Loughlin photo) Four people, including a young offender, have been arrested for theft. OPP said that at approximately midnight on Dec. 15, a 17-year-old youth was walking along Gibbons Street in Goderich when three males approched and forced the victim into a vehicle. The youth was robbed and released with no injuries in an isolated area of Ashfield- Colborne-Wawanosh. An 18-year-old female from Goderich, an 18-year-old male and a 20-year-old male both from Central Huron and a 16-year-old each face one count of robbery with theft and one count of forcible confinement.
