Huron Perth Atom Lakers have busy week The Huron Perth AAA Minor Atom Lakers have had a busy and mixed week of hockey action. On Tuesday, Dec. 12, the team travelled to Stratford to play Brantford and came away with a 2-0 victory. Scoring in this effort were Kenny Huether and Keirnyn Campbell. Evan Chaffe picked up an assist. Solid in the Lakers' net was Ben Larder. Three days later the team was edged 2-1 by Cambridge in Cambridge. Huether scored for the Lakers with assists going to Chaffe and Lucas Spence. The next day was a different story again as the Lakers played Waterloo. Huether picked up a hattrick, with Cullen Mercer and Nathan Smith adding to the tally as well. Assists went to Campbell and Chaffe with two apiece, Mykal Hodges and Spence. It was a great team effort that ended Waterloo's six-game winning streak. The following day it was a loss as the team played Kitchener in Clinton.
