Brussels Livestock report
4,470 head of cattle on offer at sales
Total receipts for Brussels
Livestock for the week ending Oct.
27 were 4,470 head of cattle, 637
lambs and goats. On Tuesday the fed
steers and heifers sold $1 lower. The
choice steers and heifers sold $89 to
$92 with sales to $96. Second cut
sold $82 to $89 with the cows selling
$2 lower. On Thursday veal sold on
a good active strong market. Sheep,
lambs and goats sold on a steady
market. On Friday calves and year-
lings sold on a steady trade.
There were 496 steers on offer.

lbs. selling for an average of $93.90
