ALL NIGHT STREET PARKING
Due to the municipal snow removal operations, the parking of
cars on Blyth streets and municipal parking lots during the winter
months (November 1 to May 1) will be strictly prohibited.
All vehicles must be removed from Blyth streets and roadways of
the municipality, between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Violators will be prosecuted or will be required to bear the cost of
having their vehicle towed away. The owner of any such parker'
vehicle will be liable for any damage to the said vehicle or to
snowplow equipment.

Greeting at Blyth United Church
on Sunday, Oct. 29 were Barb and
Diana Campbell. Guest organist was
Lynda McGregor. Ushering were
Lori Brooks, Rob Mason, Myrtle
Badley and Lavern Clark.

that were on the altar. The Peace
candles were from Sault Ste. Marie,
Nova Scotia and Strathroy.
The choir sang Make Me a
Channel of Your Peace. The fall
supper is Nov. 18.
The church ladies are making
small individual fruit pies. Call

Rev. Robin McGauley asked the
children to come to the front of the

The Blyth United Church Women
met in the church parlour Thursday,
Oct. 26 at 2 p.m.
Pat Sparling and Vera Hesselwood
spoke on traditions of Thanksgiving.
Rev. Robin McGauley was the
speaker. Art was a big part of
religion in the beginning, but has
taken a backseat. She showed the
members slides of a Changall
stained-glass window and many
other paintings and sculptures.
The women are making turkey
pies on Nov. 15, beef on Nov. 29.
The next meeting is Nov. 23 at
6:30 p.m. It's a potluck.Bring school
supplies for Uganda East Africa.

Day. She also asked them who was a
saint in their lives. Some of their
answers were, their parents, their
grandparents and their Sunday
school teachers.
Jon Hakkers carried the candle, lit
from the altar candles, as the
children went down to Sunday
school.
Myrtle Badley read the lectionary
scripture readings, Job 42: 1-6, the
Responsive Psalm 34 and Mark 10:
46-52.
The choir anthem was I Believe in
Miracles.
Rev. McGauley introduced the
guest speaker, Elizabeth Cameron of
Fullarton. She spoke on her
experiences at general council.
Cameron was a youth delegate for
the Huron-Perth Presbytery. Her
message was Listen, Pause, Play and
Repeat. We Have To Listen To The
Word of God.
People should take time to be
silent and think of God, take time to
repeat the things they have learned
and share their experiences with
others.
Everyone was invited down to the
church auditorium for a potluck
lunch to celebrate 152 years of
services and to hear Mark and Rev.
McGauley's experiences at general
council.
