Blyth fire chief, Paul Josling, talks to students at Blyth Public School about the importance of
fire safety. The fire drill that took place Oct. 11 was the world's largest school fire drill, with
drills taking place all over the world that day. Last year, was the first time this fire drill was
conducted, and over one million students were evacuated from over 1,900 schools in Ontario.
Ontario fire departments were hoping to promote fire safety and bring fire safety to the
forefront for one day. (Shawn Loughlin photo)

They are given to children who have

Rev. McGauley's message to the
adults was There Once Was a Man
named Job. The story of Job tells
that good and bad things happen.
People must believe that God is with
them in both the good and bad. They
must believe that God is with them
in the good times but often ask God
why the bad things happen to them.
Like Job, people do not know the
whole picture that God has in store,
said Rev. McGauley.
They must believe that God is
with us in the good times and the
bad times.
