Huronstock at Clinton grandstand
Surprise performance
Streetcore stopped in at Central Huron Secondary School and St. Anne's last Thursday to
promote Huronstock on Sept. 23. The outdoor festival concert will run from 4 p.m. to midnight
at Clinton's grandstand and include local bands, vendors and interactive health booths. (Clinton
Nevis Record photo)
Huronstock is on its way, and the
SPARK, team invites all of Huron
County to come out and rock at this
great event.
This day-long, substance-free
event will include music from many
local bands, local vendors and
interactive health booths.
Come out and check out and try a
new mocktail, or experience life in
drunken goggles, shop the vendors
or just listen to the music.
You will hear Farewell to Freeway,
Shotgun Rules, Trace Nine, Perish,
and many more. You can check out
their music and bios at
www.myspace.com/huronstock
SPARK is a youth-driven website
which will tackle tough, local Huron
County issues like drug use, binge
drinking and depression, by those
living with these pressures every
day.
The SPARK youth team has
decided to make this a charity show,
with all proceeds from the event
going to the Musical Instrument
Lending Library (MILL).
Like SPARK, the MILL has also
been inspired and created by local
youth. The SPARK team has been
working in cahoots with Wildfong
Entertainment to bring a rockin'
show.
Huronstock hits the Clinton
Grandstand on Saturday, Sept. 23,
from 4 p.m. until midnight.
