Agriculture Brussels Livestock report 2,937 head of cattle on offer at sale Total receipts for Brussels Livestock for the week ending Sept. 15 were 2,937 head of cattle, 527 lambs and goats. On Tuesday the fed steers and heifers sold on a steady market with a moderate demand. The choice steers and heifers sold $91 to $96 with sales to $103.75. Second cut sold $88 to $91 with the cows selling on a steady market. On Thursday the veal sold $2 to $5 higher. Lambs sold on a steady market while the sheep sold on a strong demand. On Friday calves and yearlings sold on a steady market. There were 435 steers on offer.
