Early Wednesday morning with
rain falling it looked like Men's
seniors at Wingham golf course
would be cancelled. But by tee-off
time the rain had stopped and a
dozen seniors were on hand for
golf action.
With no wind, damp air and
slight fog the little black bugs were
out in full force taking some
enjoyment out of the game.
Grant Currie took the top prize.
Tied for second were Bill Dauphin
and Bill Brown with Ray Walker
getting the final prize.
I hope Bill Dauphin and Ray
Walker had good luck with
investing their winnings as they left
for Las Vegas later on in the day.

Two dozen plus two were out on
a cool night for Thursday golf. And
the "king of the swingers" for the
first time this year was none other
than Bill Kerr with a 41. Tied for
second, one stroke behind with 42,
were Dan. McPherson and Lorne
Millen.
Thursday night could have been
called Lorne.Miller Night as Lorne
not only placed second but walked
away with all nine skins with a
birdie on number three and won the
prize for the longest putt on
number three.
It was nice to see three new
golfers out to join in the fun.
