Sheila Nixon wel- comed 10 members and thanked Mrs. Folkard for hosting the meet- ing. Sheila read a poem for the new year. The meeting opened with the roll call where everyone told one good thing about the person sitting next to them. This theme was carried on throughout the meeting with the worship and meditation. Barbara Anderson conducted the worship with the theme, Using Our Talents. The scripture was from Romans, which tells of everyone having gifts. Her meditation enlarged on how people use their gifts. Mrs. Folkard reported on the over 50 children and youth who had attended the Vacation Bible School, and thanked everyone for their donations. The church anniversary weekend was announced. There will be a dis- play and sale of 1,000 villages, crafts and articles, plus fresh veg- etable and garden bulbs and flowers.
