Agriculture Brussels Livestock report Thursday's veal sells on strong, active trade Total receipts for Brussels Livestock for the week ending Sept. 8 were 2,434 head of cattle, 954 lambs and goats. On Tuesday the fed steers and heifers sold on a steady market. The choice steers and heifers sold $91 to $96 with sales to $106.75. Second cut sold $88 to $9-1 with the cows selling $2 lower. On Thursday the veal sold on a strong active trade. Lambs and sheep sold on a steady market. On Friday calves and yearlings sold on a strong active trade with grass yearlings selling at a premium.
