The Thresher Reunion has been a
life-long family affair for the
Hal lahans.
Joe Hallahan, of Blyth, has been
involved with the Huron Pioneer
Thresher and Hobby Association for
30 years, following in his father's
footsteps. Dan Hallahan was one of
the founding members of the
Reunion.
Being a part of this event seems,

father was one of the founding
members and this keeps his memory
alive and the old history going. Also
this event has been really good for
the communty."

the camping committee for a number
of years and has helped out and
worked with most of the other
committees.

connection it's difficult for Hallahan
to come with a favourite story or
memory of the Reunion.
However, he did say that it's
always great to see so many faces
returning year, after year, and even
more exciting to see the new
ones.
"The Reunion has come a long
way since it started with one or two

the steam engines and the old-time
fiddle music brings people from east
and west of Canada and as from as
far south as Florida."
