On Sunday, July 23, Pastor Dave Wood led the service at Huron Chapel. His sermon began with the reading from Matthew 24, regarding Noah's faithfulness to God when instructed to build an ark. Pastor Wood asked the congregation, Are we ready? In view of the recent events in the Middle East, what will happen next? He asked, Will the church be found faithful? As in the days of Noah, the world is full of disasters and societal depravity. Is the world winding down? It's time for the church to get real. The church must be found quite so difficult. The arrival of more young folk is wonderful for a small community and they will also be welcomed at Hullett Central Public School come September. Saturday evening the air over Londesborough was filled with the pleasing sounds of gospel music. Cheryl Dunn and her troupe enter- tained and ministered on the grounds of the Fellowship Bible Chapel.
