Jim was a quiet man who truly
was one of the cornerstones of our

of the senior members to cut their
pattern out.
Since only three patterns could be
cut at a time, the members had time
in which they practised sewing on
scraps, pinned their projects to pre-
pare for sewing and watched and lis-
tened to the leaders, hoping to pick
up tips they could use. Some of the

On Sunday, July 23, Pastor Dave
Wood led the service at Huron
Chapel.
His sermon began with the reading
from Matthew 24, regarding Noah's
faithfulness to God when instructed
to build an ark. Pastor Wood asked
the congregation, Are we ready?
In view of the recent events in the
Middle East, what will happen next?
He asked, Will the church be found
faithful?
As in the days of Noah, the world
is full of disasters and societal
depravity. Is the world winding
down? It's time for the church to get
real. The church must be found
quite so difficult.
The arrival of more young folk is
wonderful for a small community
and they will also be welcomed at
Hullett Central Public School come
September.
Saturday evening the air over
Londesborough was filled with the
pleasing sounds of gospel music.
Cheryl Dunn and her troupe enter-
tained and ministered on the grounds
of the Fellowship Bible Chapel.
Folks of all ages enjoyed the presen-
tation on a perfect evening to be out-
doors.
Refreshments and fellowship fol-
lowed the concert.

not see." Hebrews 11:1
Next week, associate pastor Don

during the evening service.
Knox Church resumes for the
summer with services this week.
Parishioners are to meet in the base-
