Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh
Requires a Public Works Superintendent
The Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh is accepting
applications for the position of Public Works Superintendent.
Reporting directly to the Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer, the Public
Works Superintendent will direct construction and maintenance
programs that provide safe and convenient roads, landfills, and
related public works service to the municipality. The position will
advise Council on appropriate public works policies, regulations and
by-laws. The position will have authority to manage and administer
the Public Works operation, in accordance with Provincia,
Legislation, and Township policies.
The position must maintain a high level of managerial, mechanical,
and technical skill, acquired through training and municipal
experience to direct a public works service that involves rural and
urban problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified Road Supervisors Senior Certificate from AORS
Public Administration Course
Surface Mining Certificate
Emergency Preparedness & Response
Five years related work experience, preferably in a municipal
environment
Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
Effective leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage material, people, and to control budgets
Valid Ontario drivers licence
Good computer and record management skills
The ideal candidate will have the ability to deal effectively,
courteously, and tactfully with the general public, contractors, and
construction industry professionals.

Town & Country Support Services (TCSS)
TCSS is seeking a Registered Nurse to work as a Service
Coordinator for the Central Huron area:
The Service Coordinator is responsible to:
• plan, coordinate, schedule and monitor personal suppport and
homemaking services.
• provide direction, education and guidance to Home Support/Personal
Support Workers (HSW/PSW).
• develop goal-directed, outcome-based care plans for personal support
and homemaking with clients and HSW/PSW for all referral sources.
• liaise with all referral sources.
• work as part of the CCAC service team and participate as a member of
agency teams as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Registered Nurse
• Computer literate
• Ability to travel throughout Huron County;
occassionally out of county travel
• Must be available for "on call rotation"
