MANN. Words seem inadequate as
we try to thank everyone who has
gathered around us since our
Sarah's death. First and foremost
our Mann, Anderson and Gropp
families. From near and far they
came and in the midst of their own
grief gave us their love and
support. They were there with us
from the first news of the accident,
at the hospital and through the
painful days that followed. Your
love sustains us. Your help with all
the planning for Sarah's
Celebration of Life: pictures,
slideshow, music and tributes,
moved everyone to laughter as well
as tears. Our neighbours who
arrived that night with hugs and
tears bearing food. They took over
the day to day requirements and
supplied a fantastic meal for all on
Friday through Beaver Boulevard
Catering. Our friends and
colleagues who immediately
surrounded us with their loving
kindness and once again, food.
Sarah's friends from Lucknow,
Toronto, Goderich and her "boys"
- you know who you are. Your
help with everything from music to
the sound system created a
memorial service for Sarah that
will never be forgotten. Thanks
Perish and Co. The Signal Star -
Bowes Publishing Ltd. FAMILY-
that is how you are known to us.
You all meant the world to Sarah
and your words of comfort and
Sarah stories help us each day.
Vicky Morrison - you gave Sarah,
her family and friends a
Celebration of Life that will still
have Sarah smiling with all
dimples! Your support from the
first night still continues and is
appreciated more than you can ever
know. To MacKenzie-McCreath
Funeral Home- Joan, Amy and
Steve. Your caring attitude and
professionalism shows in
everything you do and we thank
you. To the Clinton Hospital staff,
Central Huron Fire Department,
ladies from Crisis Response and the
OPP officers who came to our
house we thank you. You have a
difficult job but you did it with
compassion. Thanks for everyone's
assistance with Sarah's final
journey to the farm. The red maple
is a fitting tribute and we thank our
families for that gift. Thanks to
everyone for flowers, visits,
charitable donations and food. We,
live in a very caring community.
To anyone we have forgotten, we
apologize and thank you. Sarah
loved her family, friends, music,
journalism and life. We had no idea
how many other lives were also
touched by her spirit until this
tragedy. The days of her
celebration of life were the most
painful we have ever spent and the
most beautiful. We will each miss
her and remember her in our hearts
forever. - Lynne, Steve and Jessica.
