"There is a problem bringing people into a rural area. Once they begin to get established, they find a way to integrate with their communities," Nonkes said. page. In 2002, after changing careers, marrying and experiencing life while having four children, she released her first CD, Anybody Else, which won county/bluegrass album of the year at the 2003 VIBE awards.
