Foundation will be hosting a
theatre production at the Grand
Bend Playhouse on Sunday, July 9,
for the 2 p.m. performance of "The
Corpse". The afternoon will be
filled with laught9r and suspense.
Following the play, meet and
socialize with the performers and
enjoy a BBQ. Tickets are $50 per
person and can be purchased at the
Clinton Public Hospital, any
Foundation Member or by leaving
a message at 482-3440 ext. 297.

JACOBS. I cannot thank everyone
enough for all the kindness shown
_me on my return home. Thanks to
my family and friends who helped
in various ways with suppers,
lunches, treats, flowers, cards,
visits and phone calls, getting
groceries and my mail. Thank you
to the Community Nurses Kara,
Kathy, Linda and Clara. You girls
do a wonderful job and we are so
lucky to have you. Thank you to
Elyse, my homecare girl. Thank
you to my therapist Nancy who is
helping to get me back on the
street. Also thanks to the nurses on
the third floor Stratford General
and to Dr. Pototschnick. You don't
really understand how much this is
appreciated until you are the one

held in my honour after 50 years of

McDOWELL. The family of the
late Harvey McDowell extends
sincere thanks to relatives,
neighbours and friends for their
kindness during the loss of our
beloved father and grandfather. We
thank you for your words of
comfort, the beautiful floral
tributes, contributions to Wingham
Hospital and the Heart and Stroke
Foundation, the many cards and
phone calls. Our sincere
appreciation also for food brought
to our homes and many other acts
of kindness. Thank you also to the
staff of Huronview Nursing Home
for Dad's excellent care during his
almost two-year stay, to Rev. Cecil
Wittich for officiating at the
funeral, to Stewart Toll for
providing beautiful saxophone
music and to Lynda McGregor who
accompanied Stewart on the piano
and provided organ music for the
service as well. We also enjoyed
and appreciated the excellent lunch
served by the ladies of the Blyth
United Church. To the staff of the
Falconer, Funeral Homes, we thank
you for your compassion and
guidance to our family during our
time of sorrow. Lastly, our most
sincere appreciation to our angels,
Barb, Kathy, and Ruth for having a
delicious supper ready for us
following the afternoon visitation.
